May is a truly delightful time on Gotland, the island of roses, when nature bursts into life and the first early crops of the year are harvested. The landscape in southern Gotland is magnificent in many ways. The coast is lined with beautiful sandy beaches. The inland cliffs invite you to go hiking and enjoy extraordinary nature experiences, and there are few other places where the island's nature is as distinctive as it is here. The light is magnificent, and the sunsets don't get any better than this.

A wonderful time and place for yoga, hiking, and cycling.

About Ulrica Norberg

Ulrica Norberg is a yoga master, breathing coach, hiking guide, author, and inspirational speaker. She is considered one of Scandinavia's foremost yoga pioneers and was initiated as a Yogiraj, or yoga master, in 2015. Ulrica believes that health, happiness, and strength come from reflection, meditation, and movement. She has written more than a dozen books on health and has also taught private students, companies, and groups around the world in awareness, creativity, innovation, meditation, mindfulness, health, and yoga.

About the Gray Goose

Grå Gåsen is a warm and welcoming boutique hotel with a homely feel and barefoot luxury. Here you can enjoy a lovely garden with both a pool and a hot tub. You may recognize their Lada from the TV program "Så Mycket Bättre" (So Much Better).

The twelve rooms at Grå Gåsen all have their own unique personal design. The majestic patrician villa was built in 1850 and offers eight rooms of various sizes. A few steps from the pool, we find four more rooms, all individually decorated. All rooms have a stylish interior and comfortable beds.

They are particularly proud of their well-composed dishes made with ingredients from local producers.

Friday, May 12

We offer Gotland coffee and go through the weekend's program.

5:15–6:30 p.m. MOVING INTO STILLNESS Yin yoga with Ulrica
The weekend begins with a peaceful journey through the magical world of yin yoga. We release tension, stiffness, and waste products in the body, as well as clearing the inner hard drive of chatter and noise. We step into the body's filter, the fascia, and through breathing and different body positions, we find places of tension, help to let go and release power, and increase circulation and freedom of mind. The class ends with a long, pleasant guided relaxation and unwinding. Welcome to GOTLAND.

7:30 p.m. Dinner
We will enjoy a two-course dinner prepared with fresh seasonal produce.

Saturday, May 13

7:00-8:15 a.m. Morning practice with Ulrica
A gentle, flowing yoga session, perfect for waking up the body. You will wake up with grounding and flowing positions, as well as lengthening stretches. Let your morning on the mat set the tone for the rest of the day.

8:30 a.m. Breakfast

10:00 a.m. Bike tour with picnic lunch.
We explore southern Gotland on two wheels, taking in fantastic views of the sea and countryside. The tour ends with a picnic lunch and a dip in the sea for those who wish.

1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Personal time – just being.

3:00 p.m. Lecture "NOT WITHOUT MY BREATH" with Ulrica, including refreshments. Come in your yoga clothes!

4:15–5:30 p.m. Yoga practice “SPRING FEELING” with Ulrica
Step onto the mat for a class that focuses on how we draw new strength, energy, and inspiration from SPRING, a season that prepares you and nature to BLOOM; on cultivating the ability to inspire yourself by letting go of what limits you. Everything from releasing physical tension and strengthening muscles to discovering how you can upgrade your inner hard drive through mental training. Here you will find a yoga practice that not only strengthens you but also gives you what you need to create increased circulation. This is done with an emphasis on gentle rotations and inversions.

We flow through sequences designed to improve mobility and stability in the spine, breathing, and mind. The session ends with Yoga Nidra, a lying meditation.

Around 7 p.m. 3-course dinner – taste experience SPRING.

Sunday, May 14

8:00-9:00 a.m. Morning practice with Ulrica
Classic Hatha yoga practice welcomes us this Sunday morning. The class includes breathing exercises, sun salutations, standing poses, balance poses, forward bends, seated poses, backbends, and twists. Lying meditation with a focus on our heart chakra rounds off the class.

9:00-10:00 a.m. Breakfast

10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Hikefulness with Ulrica
An enjoyable hike through beautiful nature and coastal stretches offering sea stacks, cliffs, fishing villages, and meadows. Something out of the ordinary.

1:00 p.m. Lunch
